Miscellaneous Improvements
- Reorg can now be run on the DB2 catalog tablespaces and indexspaces. This is predicted to provide significant performance improvements for processes that access the catalog heavily (Such as dynamic SQL and ODBC access).
- Additional indexes can be defined on the DB2 catalog tables. This, too, is predicted to provide significant performance improvements for processes that access the catalog heavily, or in unusual ways.
- Load performance is greatly improved.
- Image Copy erformance is greatly improved.
- Reorg performance is greatly improved.
- Just about everything is greatly improved in DB2 V4.1.
